Do you display trackbacks?

We visit hundreds of blogs each week and are amazed at how many do not display trackbacks. Displaying trackbacks is a sign of link love whether they are dofollow or not, why not show appreciation for people linking to your content. We want to know how you feel.

  • I really like the work you've done with AJAX as well as your tutorials. This specific tutorial can be found in various forms on the web. I wouldn't mind seeing something new, such as an AJAX tabbed version to switch between the comments & trackbacks.
  • I would like to display the track back
  • The method described here will lift out all of the trackbacks, and then display them as a numbered list after the list of comments is finished. Once you have this done, customizing the trackbacks to appear however you want them to is simple.

  • By selecting to receive Email Notifications, you will be notified when a new TrackBack is received, and you can publish the TrackBack via the email. All TrackBacks posted to your weblog will remain unpublished until the Author of the post has approved them. This is a precaution to help reduce the amount of spam TrackBacks that are sent to TypePad blogs, so the option to not moderate TrackBacks is not available.
  • I get my comments and trackbacks emailed to me, and most of them are entirely SPAM. Why do I get these trackbacks? Does it help my traffic or rob me of it?
  • THANK YOU for this post! It was making me crazy that my trackback’s were coming in as comments. Now that’s all fixed.
